After I got home that afternoon, I went to call them to ask about it and I learned that we did not have phone service, cable or internet at home because of lightning strikes in our neighborhood.After checking with a neighbor I was told we were not expected to get it back for several days.
I was careless and left my phone in the charger dock on the alarm clock when we checked out. This means that when you are showering, the cool air from the bathroom is hitting your back (or front). Also, there is no sliding door to close off the shower. That was when my husband slipped and would have fallen if he had not grabbed onto the soap holder. The stall floors are very slippery, and the holder for the soap and shampoo is far enough away from the safety strip that you have to step on the slippery section of the floor to reach the soap. They have only a few safety strips on the floor. The base of the shower stall had no lip and water went onto the floor making the shower mat soaking wet. However, the showers are a serious accident waiting to happen. The rooms at the hotel are lovely and clean. These meetings have been going on since they were in the Army in the early 60’s. My husband and I recently met up with his Army buddy and his wife.
